Welcome to Lakselvbukt - a peaceful arctic village surrounded by fjords and mountains. We create small, authentic and personal experiences where nature, food and local stories come together.
Evening ToursNorthern lights experiences, storytelling, local food, snowshoeing and Arctic nature.
Evening tours run from 18:30–20:00 and on Saturdays from 18:00-19:30 throughout the winter season.
Day ToursSámi culture, storytelling, local food, Arctic nature and light, snowshoeing and more.
Day tours run Saturday from 12:30–14:00 throughout the winter season.
Where are we
Go Arctic Tours is located in Lakselvbukt, a small coastal community in Tromsø Municipality. Just a 1-hour drive from Tromsø city centre, the area offers a rare blend of accessibility and true Arctic wilderness.
Here, the fjord opens toward the sea while steep mountains rise around the village, creating a unique microclimate with clear nights, stable conditions, and minimal light pollution. It’s one of the region’s most reliable spots for northern lights viewing, photography, and quiet evenings outdoors.
